1. Planning the meeting
"Hey, should we meet near the fountain inside Seri Harmoni Mall?" asked Aiman over the phone.
"Hei, kita nak jumpa dekat air pancut dalam Pusat Beli-belah Seri Harmoni ke?" tanya Aiman melalui telefon.
"Yes, that’s a good spot. Everyone knows where it is," replied Fatin.
"Ya, itu tempat yang bagus. Semua orang tahu tempat tu," jawab Fatin.
Narration:
Aiman and Fatin lived in houses right next to each other. Their friends—Hafiz, Sarah, and Daniel—lived one or two streets away.
Aiman dan Fatin tinggal di rumah yang bersebelahan. Kawan mereka—Hafiz, Sarah, dan Daniel—tinggal satu atau dua jalan dari situ.
They had planned to use Aiman’s Perodua Myvi, which was only three years old, to get to the mall.

2. Picking up friends

Next, they picked up Sarah and Daniel, and the car was soon filled with cheerful voices.
Kemudian, mereka menjemput Sarah dan Daniel, dan kereta itu segera dipenuhi dengan suara riang.

"I wore my new perfume today," Fatin added proudly.
"Saya pakai minyak wangi baru hari ni," tambah Fatin dengan bangga.
"Nice! I can smell it already," Hafiz teased.
"Bagus! Saya dah boleh bau pun," usik Hafiz.

4. Arriving at the mall
In fifteen minutes, they reached Seri Harmoni Mall.

Aiman parked the car carefully, took the parking ticket, and they all headed inside.

5. First impressions

"Yes, the paint colour is fresher too," replied Daniel.
"Ya, warna cat pun nampak lebih segar," jawab Daniel.
"I think the air conditioning is cooler now," Fatin remarked.
"Saya rasa penghawa dingin sekarang lebih sejuk," komen Fatin.
"Or maybe you just feel hot from walking," joked Hafiz.
"Atau mungkin awak rasa panas sebab berjalan," gurau Hafiz.

6. Shopping time
They decided to start with the fashion section, which was full of the latest items.
Mereka memutuskan untuk mula di bahagian fesyen, yang penuh dengan barangan terkini.
Aiman bought a pair of stylish shoes, Sarah found a cap she liked, and Fatin picked a wristwatch.
Aiman membeli sepasang kasut bergaya, Sarah menemui topi yang dia suka, dan Fatin memilih jam tangan.
Hafiz was disappointed at first because he couldn’t find a particular T-shirt design he wanted.

She bought one pair and gave the second pair to Fatin as a gift.
